THE SPOTLIGHT SESSIONS

Icons and legends across industries took to the Main Stage to share their powerful insights and the trends that are impacting the fast-changing digital landscape.

HubSpot’s Yamini Rangan (CEO), Andy Pitre (Executive Vice President of Product), and Dharmesh Shah (co-founder and CTO) kicked it all off with the HubSpot Spotlight.

  • Product drops
  • Dad jokes
  • …and the latest and greatest HubSpot news

The HubSpot Spotlight had it all. The audience was formally introduced to HubSpot's newest AI solution to help deliver ease, speed, and unification across all business aspects: Breeze.

From Breeze Agents that will help scale growth to Breeze Copilots that will help boost productivity, Rangan, Pitre, and Shah unveiled the transformative capabilities of HubSpot’s AI, powering the entire customer platform. Together with Breeze, customers can unlock their potential while still keeping a human touch.

What does it take to be a champion? The 🎾 GOAT, Serena Williams, served up some serious wisdom during her session on how to bring a champion mindset to any venture.

I feel like everybody is a champion… it's really just about giving your best effort in whatever you're doing and do it the best you can on that day. — Serena Williams

Kara Swisher kept it real on the Main Stage as she chatted about all things tech, AI and the importance of transparency in media, giving her POV on everything from industry disruptors to future tech topics like pharmaceuticals, psychedelics, and climate change.

BREAKOUT SESSIONS: PRACTICAL AND POWERFUL

With 200+ sessions to choose from, attendees had the opportunity to learn from the best in topics ranging from email marketing and content development to leadership and advertising. These sessions gave attendees the tools they need to stay ahead—from hands-on deep dive sessions to intimate Meetups with industry experts. What were some top takeaways?

  • Keep it human: yes, AI was a main focus for a lot of sessions, but the truth is, human creativity keeps content authentic and engaging. As Dharmesh Shah (Co-founder and CTO, HubSpot) said, “AI may be faster than us, AI may be smarter than us, but it can’t be more human than us. It can’t be, because it has not had human experiences.”
  • Deliverability will continue to be a key topic with so much content saturating the digital landscape. Focus on quality over quantity.
  • The email landscape will keep changing—continue testing and iterating to see which tactics and trends work best with your audience. Some easy ones to try? Email marketing guru Jay Schwedelson recommends using negative messaging to increase open rates and having your “from” address actually be the start to your subject line.

No matter the subject area expertise or industry, attendees walked away with actionable insights that they can apply to their job immediately.

HUBSPOT HQ: THE HEART OF INBOUND

At the center of the action, HubSpot HQ was a must-visit for anyone looking to dive deeper into the HubSpot ecosystem. This dynamic area was home to the HubSpot Heroes Stage, where attendees heard inspiring customer success stories and got a first hand look at how companies are using HubSpot’s tools to grow better. New this year, the Spotlight Product Demos showcased the latest and greatest tools announced during the HubSpot Spotlight, offering hands-on opportunities to test-drive new features.

HubSpot Academy hosted programming, meetups, and opportunities for attendees to chat with professors IRL and the Community Center was a hub of valuable tools, trainings, and resources designed to empower users.

A thriving ecosystem of learning, networking, and collaboration, HubSpot HQ gave attendees the tools they needed to succeed with HubSpot.

BEYOND THE SESSIONS: COMMUNITY & CONNECTION

Of course INBOUND isn’t just about the sessions—it’s about the people. Whether it was making new connections at INBOUND After Hours featuring comedian David Spade, or trading insights over food truck bites at Lawn on D, the networking and community building was next level.

Community groups and Meetups hosted by industry innovators like the Marketing Millennials, Jay Schwedelson, Daniel Disney of the Daily Sales, Claire Wasserman of Ladies Get Paid, sales pro Carole Mahoney, and Neil Patel and Eric Siu of the Marketing School provided a dynamic space for like-minded marketers, sales pros, and attendees to connect, swap stories, and learn from one another.
